Dr. Daniel Hatmaker
Dr. Daniel Hatmaker is a Galveston Island native that graduated from Ball High School in 2001. He is also the son of the late Dr. Roy Hatmaker, founder of Hatmaker Chiropractic. Dr. Hatmaker performed his undergraduate studies at Texas State University followed by completing his post-graduate studies at Texas Chiropractic College in December of 2007 and Samford University in May of 2011. While attending Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Hatmaker had the opportunity to intern at the V.A. Central Hospital in Temple, TX. It was not only an honor to be able to serve the veterans of America, but it was also a unique opportunity to collaborate chiropractic care with medical care. Dr. Hatmaker also participated in a mission trip that provided chiropractic care for the citizens of Manaus, Brazil. During that trip, Dr. Hatmaker had the opportunity to treat over 350 men, women, and children in need of chiropractic care.
He also has received his Masters of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner - from Samford University in May of 2011. Here he had an opportunity to participate in the care of 1000's of patients and train with a number of doctors in various specialties in and out of the hospital. Completion of this program has allowed him to not only offer Chiropractic care to patients, but also medical care.
Dr. Hatmaker currently spends his time rotating between his home clinic, Hatmaker Chiropractic, and two other medical clinics. He also practices in Friendswood, TX at Park Lakes Family Medicine (PLFM) with Dr. Efrain Soto. At PLFM he manages and participates in the care of acute and chronic diseases. He also practices in Webster, TX at Spine and Joint Pain Center of Houston (SJPC) with Dr. Mikhail Fukshansky and Dr. James Dieter. At SJPC he manages the in hospital care for patients that are in need of interventional pain management services.
Being one of the team doctors for the Galveston Whitecaps sports and working along side his partner, Dr. John Massare, Dr. Hatmaker has experience with treating sports injuries as well. Dr. Hatmaker believes that if at all possible, it is better to treat the cause of disease, not just the symptom.

Dr. John Massare
Dr. John Massare joined the team at Hatmaker Chiropractic in March 2004. His first three years of Chiropractic College he went to LIFE University in Atlanta, GA. There he learned the fundamentals and philosophy of Chiropractic, and for his last year and internship he completed his studies at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. While attending TCC, Dr. Massare was invited to be a Teacher's Assistant to Orthopedic I, II and III labs and he was an Attending Clinician Assistant for Dr. Timothy Lee. At TCC he gained a wonderful background in combining allopathic medicine with chiropractic care.
Prior to Chiropractic College, Dr. Massare attended the University of Georgia. While there he became a trainer for the football team under Coach Goff, and was Senior Trainer for the 1995 Peach Bowl. Additionally, he was a member of the Georgia Tennis Team in which he was head trainer for two NCAA championships and a member of two SEC Championship teams. Dr. Massare also helped train the basketball team, track team and cheerleading squad. By the time he graduated from Georgia with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, with a dual emphasis on Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training, he had lettered in both the footbal and tennis programs and was a Certified Athletic Trainer.
After college he worked for the Gwinnett Health System in Atlanta, GA. There he did phase 3 and 4 rehabilitation at the Outpatient Hospital on patients of all ages and physical health, from professional athletes to FBI agents...from children to elderly. Dr. Massare lectured and wrote articles for the hospital's monthly newsletters...some of which can still be read on the hospital's website. He also became a licensed Personal Trainer and assisted individuals at the hospital's gym.
